Spendy Wendy

At the moment I'm trying not to buy much in terms of clothes because I can't really afford to be spendy at the moment. I've actually been enjoying it though because I've been able to rediscover my wardrobe and get a lot more wear out of pieces I usually wouldn't. Essentially I have a capsule wardrobe right now and I can see the appeal. I'm someone who get flustered and stressed when I'm faced with too much choice. With fewer clothes coming in I've been able to think clearer about my outfits and really make the most of what I have. I'm at the point in my life where I'm moving away from big shopping binges in which I buy millions of items I will never wear and am instead buying less but investing in classic pieces that will last me ages; I can't be arsed with trend chasing because it just rinses me of everything I have. This jumper was a recent investment from & Other Stories. I really love it's shape and the way it falls on me, as I've grown sick of either having to tuck jumpers or else look like a shapeless lump. I paid a little bit more than I usually would for it but I just feel like this piece can be thrown on with anything and look super put together, plus it will never go out of style.

  1. Love for your blog and shopping philosophy!
I share your opinion and style.
I had the idea of looking into friend`s old closets among the pieces that no longer fit, I found suede boots, hight waisted shorts, tie-front blouse, even a perfect leather skirt.
    I follow you, now!
